I wanted to introduce a different deity first, but may as well get to this one. Oddly, I had some troubles putting it up. I already sent it in before to get a spot at an art school, but this time it was being stubborn
Also, the symbol in the corner is a little bit off. The circle should be dead centre, if I recall. Anyways, on to the entry!
Slekupan
Ht: 6'11"-12'9" (2.11-3.89 m)
Wt: 172-291 Lbs (78.02-132.00 kg)
Tl: N/A
Ws: N/A
Type: Dark/Plant/Oz
Class: Deity/Human/Spiritual
Classification: Elmena Forest Guardian Deity
Gender Ratio: 100% Male
Location: N/A ; Roaming
Notable Features:
-No sharp facial features ; Smooth skin covers where eyes and mouth should be
-Has a pattern vaguely resembling a business suit
-Frequents forests
-Only Fiend Deity
-Disrupts memories when feeling threatened
Life Span: N/A ; Immortal
Mating Season: N/A ; None
Courting Ritual: Unknown
Brood: Unknown
Gestation: Unknown
Behaviour: Silent and foreboding. Fairly aggressive when attacked, and quite curious to the point of dissecting victims and putting them back together. Oddly shows no aggression to animals or small Cryscon and Fiends unless attacked by them first
Diet: Unknown; Likely doesn't eat due to lack of mouth
Slekupan is something called a Fiend. A Fiend is a cross between a Cryscin and a Cryscon. These are words in the language I've made for the game. Crys- is a prefix meaning beast, and -cin is a suffix that means normal or ordinary while -con means magic. Cryscon and Fiends are capturable, and humans in this setting are technically Cryscon (which leads to a whole new realm of Nightmare Fuel - Luckily, humans can't be captured by other humans. Intelligence makes a capture more difficult, as does being the same species)
Anyways, Slekupan here is special. He is the only deity who is a Fiend. He is also the only child of Chaos, the brother of Order who birthed all of the other deities - directly or indirectly - sans three. Slekupan was created with one goal in mind: At the end of days, he is meant to observe the battle between Order and Chaos (Order was once a part of Chaos. However, when she split, it damaged her mind severely and made her dangerously mental - wanting all of existence - herself included - to be obliterated), and step in to finish the job once Chaos was too weak to kill Order. He would then kill Chaos as well, along with any surviving life, and live alone in the abyss for an eternity
Yes, he does bear a striking resemblance to everybody's favourite tall man, Slenderman. Heck, compare the names! Sle-ku-pan. Slen-der-man. Same number of syllables, they rhyme, and they both start with Sle-. This isn't coincidental. Slekupan is a proxy of Slenderman. In a way, he IS Illusoria's Slenderman, but with a purpose (and also a soft spot for children and small animals - He's only killed a child once, and that was due to vengeance because of what a village did to the animals in an area)
However, there is one issue. He's been known to lure children and animals alike away, never to be seen again. He'll also eviscerate enemies and, if threatened, cause amnesia so the person gets lost. No, the amnesia isn't due to him being a Slendy proxy. It's due to him being an Illusorian Deity. A lot of them have... Let's just say one is made of the souls of the damned, one is a brain with a paintbrush for a tail and a hand made of neurons, with a metal plate on its brainhead that causes insanity, one is a mass of black, fire, and electricity that writhes around and both has form and no form at all at the same time, and leave amnesia to the fact that the human brain sometimes WANTS to forget what the hell it just saw
I've been considering rewriting parts of him to make him less like our lovable man in a suit
Well, I'll try to have another entry up next week!

Sorry about the wait
Drawing a humanoid deity can suck (why the hell did I choose that pose for him? ;.;)
I'll put up a different deity tonight
Also, Paul has been acting odd lately. I'll try to get him to comment today. He's... Worrying me. Muttering about a business man or something

And suddenly, Slendermen. Hundreds of them
Calgary would be a good home for such a beast
Trees everywhere in the city (some on top of four-five story buildings - I'll try to take a picture next time)
Honestly, there isn't a spot in Calgary without at LEAST one tree
Which reminds me of something
Once I took a photo of a tree outside the university and badly shopped Slendy in
People were freaked
Not by the shop though. There was an unnaturally tall man in black in the corner of the photo
I should try posting it the time after next
Yeah, I'm making another Illusorian entry soon
See you then, and don't be afraid to comment!

Oh god another scare
My labcoat and one of my jackets reflected in the window in such a way that a quick glance would make it look like a tall, suited man was outside
And there was no head. There was no faceless head leering at me from the window. No, there was no head. It was all a reflection. I didn't see anything move
Jeez, maybe I should take a break from the slendyblogs...

Illusorian Beastiary: Grypyre
Welcome to the first edition of Illusoria Beastiary! I'll have a neat surprise for you next month, but first off, let's start with this guy:
Grypyre
Ht: 1'3" (0.38 m)
Wt: 0.06 Lbs (0.03 kg)
Tl: 1'8" (0.51 m)
Ws: 1'5" (0.43 m)
Type: Dark/Wind
Class: Beast/Bird/None
Classification: Grip Bat
Gender Ration: 50% Male
Location: Mid-North Forests ; Coastel Northern Forests
Notable Features:
-Powerful claw at tip of tail
-Claw able to shatter bone
-Has surprisingly good eyesight
-Very strong family bonds
Life Span: 27-30 years
Mating Season: Late Octobor to Early March
Courting Ritual: Males woo the females with their hunting prowess. They mate for life, and will rarely find a new mate if their chosen mate dies.
Brood: 2-3 children
Gestation: 6 months
Behaviour: Very gentle and somewhat intelligent. Females very aggressive when rearing young, do not approach unless the female knows you prior to child rearing.
Diet: Small mammals, small lizards, and small Arthropod class Cryscon and Fiends.
Very interesting Cryscon, they have surprisingly sharp eyesight despite being bats. In fact, this gives them an advantage when hunting, as they can remain perfectly silent. Hunting during dusk and dawn, they only use their sonar at night when their eye sight is rendered far less effective. They will gruesomely dig their claws into their prey and shatter the bones to keep the prey from struggling.
Even though they are dark types, they have strong familial bonds and are actually quite kind and gentle creatures unless hunting. This is because a creature can be a dark type if it matches any two of the following three criteria:
1 - Aggressive or sneaky battle style
2 - Demonic or evil appearance
3 - Are actually evil
Because it meets the criteria of 1 and 2 (if YOU were a bat with a claw capable of crushing a skull and somebody attacked you, wouldn't you make them regret it?), it is considered a dark type
These creatures are often used as guides for those going through the woods. As they are nocturnal (the hunting during dawn and dusk lets them eat through the night and bond, and store some meat for whenever the young wake up the mothers in the middle of the day), they are quite useful for leading a human through the dark, using their claw to gently grip the human on the arm and pull them along a safe route

God Dammit Paul
I'm so jumpy lately after that scare. I keep seeing things and feeling like I'm being watched
I HOPE YOU'RE HAPPY! You fucking freak, you made me paranoid!
...Ok, partially my fault that I keep reading Slenderblogs, but still!
I mean, god, I played Minecraft and mistook a piece of lint on the screen as Tall and Not So Handsome watching me from an area of my castle!
Speaking of Tall and Gruesome, I took another picture of the Hallowed Mountains drawing. That symbol appeared again. Simon knows how to make apps, so I'm thinking that the prick swapped my Camera Plus app with one that would embed a crappy operator symbol on the image. No idea how it is so clear after shrinking or how he made it only show up when I take a picture of the mountains, but he did it, I just know it
Now excuse me while I continue to jump at my own shadow. The next update should be the first of my Cryscon shown on this blog, along with a write up!
