Illusorian Beastiary: Slekupan

I wanted to introduce a different deity first, but may as well get to this one. Oddly, I had some troubles putting it up. I already sent it in before to get a spot at an art school, but this time it was being stubborn

Also, the symbol in the corner is a little bit off. The circle should be dead centre, if I recall. Anyways, on to the entry!

Slekupan is something called a Fiend. A Fiend is a cross between a Cryscin and a Cryscon. These are words in the language I've made for the game. Crys- is a prefix meaning beast, and -cin is a suffix that means normal or ordinary while -con means magic. Cryscon and Fiends are capturable, and humans in this setting are technically Cryscon (which leads to a whole new realm of Nightmare Fuel - Luckily, humans can't be captured by other humans. Intelligence makes a capture more difficult, as does being the same species)

Anyways, Slekupan here is special. He is the only deity who is a Fiend. He is also the only child of Chaos, the brother of Order who birthed all of the other deities - directly or indirectly - sans three. Slekupan was created with one goal in mind: At the end of days, he is meant to observe the battle between Order and Chaos (Order was once a part of Chaos. However, when she split, it damaged her mind severely and made her dangerously mental - wanting all of existence - herself included - to be obliterated), and step in to finish the job once Chaos was too weak to kill Order. He would then kill Chaos as well, along with any surviving life, and live alone in the abyss for an eternity

Yes, he does bear a striking resemblance to everybody's favourite tall man, Slenderman. Heck, compare the names! Sle-ku-pan. Slen-der-man. Same number of syllables, they rhyme, and they both start with Sle-. This isn't coincidental. Slekupan is a proxy of Slenderman. In a way, he IS Illusoria's Slenderman, but with a purpose (and also a soft spot for children and small animals - He's only killed a child once, and that was due to vengeance because of what a village did to the animals in an area)

However, there is one issue. He's been known to lure children and animals alike away, never to be seen again. He'll also eviscerate enemies and, if threatened, cause amnesia so the person gets lost. No, the amnesia isn't due to him being a Slendy proxy. It's due to him being an Illusorian Deity. A lot of them have... Let's just say one is made of the souls of the damned, one is a brain with a paintbrush for a tail and a hand made of neurons, with a metal plate on its brainhead that causes insanity, one is a mass of black, fire, and electricity that writhes around and both has form and no form at all at the same time, and leave amnesia to the fact that the human brain sometimes WANTS to forget what the hell it just saw

I've been considering rewriting parts of him to make him less like our lovable man in a suit

Well, I'll try to have another entry up next week!
